In Supplication, Thomas Sorocold provides a collection of prayers to be used by the reader from Daniel, Paul, David, Moses, and even Queen Elizabeth I. This copy, donated by Dr. James Houston, is signed by a woman who received this book as a gift from another woman: “Lydia Pedley Her Book given her By mrs merydale.”
